You've now bought a home, congratulations!
At this point, your blueprints will be prepared for permit application. Here is what you can expect:

Step 1 - Your preliminary plans will be sent to you via DocuSign for review and sign off.

Step 2 - There will be 3 appointments scheduled with our trade partners and a virtual consolidation sign off with your Area Sales Manager. In-person appointments are available upon request.

3. Interior Selections

Step 1 - To really capture the overall look you're going for, you'll be provided with a catalogue of finishes. Plumbing selections must be done first due to its time sensitive nature.

Step 2 - Book an in-person appointment at our Design Centre. Our safety protocols ensure only 1 customer per day with thorough sanitation done between all appointments. Physical distancing is maintained at all times and gloves and hand sanitizer are provided.

Step 3 - Once selections are made, we ask that you update your mortgage approval with your final purchase price including any upgrades and provide us with a firm mortgage approval from your lender. Your upgrades deposit can be dropped at the office in our after hours drop off mail slot or you may arrange for drop off at a showhome.

4. Homes Under Construction

The Government of Alberta recognizes residential construction as an essential service at this time. The construction of your home will continue with our staff and trade partners taking extra precautions to maintain safety on site. You will have 2 appointments during the course of construction:

Appointment 1 - Homestart & rough-in walkthrough. Your Area Sales Manager will be in contact to book an in-person appointment with your site superintendent.

Appointment 2 - Cabinet walkthrough. Your Area Sales Manager will be in touch to book a virtual appointment with your site superintendent.

5. Possession

Signing of detail documents - our lawyers are still doing in-person appointments while practicing proper safety protocols. Their legal office is open by appointment. Further details will be sent when your appointment is booked for closing.

Pre-possession and occupancy - These appointments are pre-scheduled and done in-person with safety protocols and physical distancing measures in place. We ask that only those whose names are on the contract attend this appointment, including children.

6. Customer Care

Our top priority has always been the safety and well-being of our homeowners, employees and trade partners. All non-emergency service inspections and appointments will be temporarily suspended and rescheduled at a later date.

  • Any service appointments affected will be honoured, including those that may have expired during this period
  • Our Service Team will be in contact to re-book appointments on a priority basis pending any recommendations and updates to public health guidelines
